Petblinder

Dominic is an extremely cute dog looking for a home. He is not, however, a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling retriever/foxhound mix. He is more likely a gun dog mix of some sort, but he is not orangy, moderately fluffy and pink nosed like a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling retriever would be. 

This cute little creature is labeled as a Newfie chow. I’m not thinkin’ so, grasshopper. This looks like a very cute and adorable border collie mix. Nice try, though. 

Sorry kids, not seeing the Neapolitan Mastiff here. Maybe I haven’t had enough Red Bull this morning, but this looks more like Great Dane mix than Neapolitan mastiff mix. I’m just sayin’. He is adoptable, and click the link for his shelter info.

Seriously, this cute black lab mutt mix is adorable, but not a dachshund mix. What you can’t see in this picture are her legs, which are not stumpy. If you stood back several hundred feet and viewed her over the edge of a picnic table so you couldn’t see her legs, then she could appear to be a dachshund mix, and very tiny. Otherwise, we call shenanigans. She’s adoptable and in need and clicking on her picture will take you to the shelter that her. 

Meet Robbie, a black mutt of questionable origin who is labeled as a terrier/schipperke by his very optimistic rescue. Seeing as schipperkes are generally mega-fluffy and with a very different head shape and tail and body, I think it’s safe to say that the only claim to schipperke-hood here for adorable Robbie is that he happens to be black. Of course, Robbie needs a home so pass this on to those looking for an adoptable black mutt of non-schipperke origins. Clicking on the picture takes you to his posting for adoption. 

If you had no idea what either a yorkie or a maltese looks like, you could perhaps mistake cute little Betsy for a maltese/yorkie mix. While her breed listing is dubious, she is adoptable and you can click on her picture to take you to her Petfinder posting. 

I think we can all agree that Ruby is a cute puppy, but very definitely not a cocker spaniel Jack Russell terrier mix. She is adoptable, so click the picture to take you to the shelter info.

Sadie is currently identified as a Newfoundland/Brittany Spaniel mix. I suppose if you squint hard and stand back 500 yards, she could look like that. Bless her heart, this dog is adoptable and looking for a home, and so not a Newfoundland/Brittany Spaniel mix.

Oh dear. Poor Pinky has been labeled a Scottie. I suppose this 8 year old dog in need could be a Scottie - that has been bleached white and has gained a boat load of weight. Fans - find this poor girl a home - with someone that wants an 8 year old white scruffy that is not really a Scottie. Click on the picture for the link to the shelter and pass it on.
